Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department's

16th Annual Open House & Safety Fair

Sunday, October 4th - 12:00 PM Until 3:00 PM

Join the Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department and various community agencies for an afternoon of fun and safety.  This annual event offers the community an inside look into the Fire Department and other health and safety agencies that are here to help in the community.  This year, Open House will occur the Sunday after Edinboro University's Homecoming and will serve as our kickoff to Fire Prevention Week 2009 which runs from October 4th-10th.

The event has activities and events for all ages, from the Bouncer for small children, to the chance to sit behind the wheel of a fire engine for those still young at heart.

Some of the agencies and groups you will see besides the Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department include, Country 98, PA Fish and Boat Commission, Smokey the Bear, the County YMCA, Central Erie County Paramedics, and more!

As always we will have rope rescue demonstrations, fire prevention information, balloons and coloring books, FREE Popcorn and Hot Dogs!!!
