Utility 398 is a 2016 Ford F350 with a reading utility body. This unit was built as a true utility and swiss army knife. This vehicle is equipped and licensed with the PA Department of Health for QRS. In addition it carries a Holmatro Combi Tool, cribbing, and hand tools for vehicle resuce. There are 2 chain saws, chaps, and helmets for tree down and service calls. 398 also carries submersible pumps and small sections of hose with a portable generator for basement pump outs. The bed contains cones and barricaids to assist with traffic control for incidents as well.
