| Why I Joined EVFD? |
I am a third generation firefighter. My Grandfather, grandmother, my father and his brothers were/ are current firefighters back in New York. I joined the Jr. Firefighter program back in New York at the age of 15 and became fully active at the age of 18. Even when I was a little kid, my father always brought me around the fire department and I absolutely loved every aspect of it. I became a student at Edinboro University and one day I saw a fire engine responding to a call. I was missing firefighting while I was away from home and I wanted to become apart of EVFD since I am in Edinboro so much for school, and this was a decision I will never regret. |
