Annual Gun Raffle (RESCHEDULED) - AGAIN

For 20 years now, our volunteers, sponsors, and participants have proudly supported our Annual Gun Raffle.  We couldn’t imagine disappointing any of you!  In order to get beyond the COVID-19 pandemic, and ensure an event where all can come together in celebration of 20 great years, we have decided to reschedule the 20th Annual Edinboro VFD Gun Raffle to SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17th, 2020.  Doors will open at 3:00PM, and the raffle will begin at 4:00PM.  We’re already hard at work to ensure that this is the best gun raffle yet.  Get your tickets today, and watch for the many great things to come!

New Truck Company 389

Some things have fallen into place and with the purchase of the new Rescue Engine 384 came the daunting task of selling the current Rescue Engine. While working on this the stars alligned and we were able to trade Rescue Engine 384 in and purchase a replacement and major upgrade for Truck Company 389! This was a former Cranberry Township, PA Truck.

No Caption New Rescue Engine 384 Update

The order for the new Rescue Engine 384 has been placed with Pierce Mfg. Pre-build has been completed and production is scheduled to begin around the first of August with an expected delivery date of October/November 2020.

Current Rescue Engine 384 has been decommissioned and sold to Command Fire Apparatus in Lancaster, PA as part of a trade in deal for a new Truck Company 389!!

Erie County Department of Public Safety will be conducting a Quarterly Municipal Disaster/Storm Siren Test for Erie County on:
Wednesday, April 15th 2020
12:00 City of Corry
12:15 Union City
12:30 West County, Edinboro and McKean
12:45 Mill Village
This test is done four times a year to ensure that in the event of weather related emergency the siren operates properly.
The difference between the fire siren and the weather siren is the following:

IF YOU HAVEN'T HEARD BY NOW OR HAVEN'T SEEN IT THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA THE EDINBORO VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT HAS SIGNED THE CONTRACT FOR A NEW RESCUE ENGINE. THIS WILL REPLACE OUR CURRENT RESCUE ENGINE WHICH IS A 2000 SUTPHEN. THE CURRENT RESCUE ENGINE (384) HAS BEEN A WARHORSE FOR THE DEPARTMENT. WE WILL KEEP EVERYONE UPDATED AS THIS PROJECT MOVES ALONG AND TIMELINES BECOME MORE CLEAR.
