EVFD dispatched to a reported building collapse at 1505 hours. Engine 382 and Truck 389 responded with 9 volunteers. Engine 382 arrived on location with Chief 380 assuming command. Crews found a one story car dealership and service center with partial collapse of the service area and free flowing natural gas. Engine 382's crew secured the gas source at the meter and confirmed that all occupants were out of the structure. Truck 389's crew was assigned to recon the roof utilizing the tower to investigate the state of the collapse in the service area. Truck 389 reported a "V" style collapse of the service area, which caused the south wall of the building to buckle and fall into the building. Crews worked with National Fuel Gas, Penelec, and Borough Water Works to secure all utilities to the structure. Crews operated on the scene for two hours and turned the building over to the Borough Code Enforcement Officer and owners.
