Nine calls throughout the day today kept the volunteers busy.
1. EMS Walker Dr. 1020hrs. 2. EMS Green Oaks Dr. 1535hrs. 3. EMS Perry Lane 1551hrs. 4. Traffic Control I-79 NB @ The 168MM and 171MM - 1711hrs. 5. MVA Eureka Rd. & Sherrod Hill Rd. 1728hrs. - Crews arrived to find one vehicle on its side with minor damage and one class 4 refusal. 6. Multi-residential structure fire. 1924hrs. Rescue/Engine 384 and Truck 389 responded with eleven. McKean Engine 405, Cranesville Engine 602, Franklin Township Engine 722, Waterford Rescue 148 (RIT), mill Village Engine 123, West Ridge Tower 479 and Cambridge Springs Engine 3-1 were also dispatched as the remainder of the first alarm. Crews arrived on scene to find a two story wood frame multi residential with nothing visible from the exterior and Captain 392 (Davis) assumed command. Crews were met with an odor in the building and after further investigation found a burnt belt on a dryer. All mutual aid was placed in service and Edinboro was on scene for a half hour. 7. MVA I-79 NB @ The 162MM 1938hrs. - Hayfield and Edinboro were alerted for a vehicle rollover at the 162MM I-79 NB. Hayfield placed squad 388 in service prior to their arrival. 8. EMS Scotland Rd. 1943hrs. 9. Traffic Control assist to Edinboro PD on Plum St. in front of McDonalds 2003hrs.
