At 1854hrs. Edinboro along with McKean, Cranesville, Franklin Township and Waterford were alerted for a reported structure fire on Silverthorn Rd. Rescue/Engine 384, Truck 389, Tanker 385, Brush 397, Squads 387 and 388 and Fire Police 399 responded with twenty-three volunteers. Crews arrived on scene to find a single story wood frame fully involved and Deputy Chief 381 (Karotko) assumed Silverthorn Rd. command. Crews protected exposures and did a defensive attack. Once the fire was knocked down, crews had extensive overhaul. All crews operated on scene for three hours.
